  8. Someone requested a recipe for cookies made from cake mix.
  9. This one is from Betty Crocker brand cake mixes:

  11. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

  13. 2 eggs                         1 package yellow, devils food or white
  14. 1/3 cup water                    cake mix ( 18oz)
  15. 1/4 cup butter or
  16.     margarine, softened        1 package (12oz) semisweet chocolate chips
  17. 1 cup peanut butter

  19. Heat oven to 375 deg. Beat eggs, water, butter, peanut butter, and half
  20. of the cake mix (dry) until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and the
  21. chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart onto an
  22. ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.  About 6 dozen cookies.
  23. --Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars: Spread dough in greased and floured
  24. jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Bake about 20 minutes. Cool;
  25. cut into bars, about 3 x 1 1/2 inches. 30 bars.
  26. High altitude (5000 ft): Cookies--no adjustments necessary. Bars--use
  27. 2 square pans, 9x9x2 inches.
